According to twitter his new car has a CEL and a leak. According to Letters, he recently learned to track down the owner of an abandoned car after seeing an SL600 with a collapsed suspension and torn top... Hmmmmmmm

I’m going with no. Doug doesn’t seem to be that handy with a wrench. One of his main factors is selling without too much of a loss. The bill to get it running and driving would probably be in the 1,000’s. I don’t think he could pay someone to do all the work and then even come close to breaking even/minor loss.

Can you buy an aftermarket warranty for a car that has existing problems - collapsed suspension for example?
